DIN Rail Mounted Open Top Storage Bins

These containers mark the beginning of a series of modular storage systems that I'm designing around 35MM Type O DIN Rail. DIN Rail is widely available and comes in many different materials, including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Depending on what material and finish you choose, it can cost between $2-$4 per meter and can be found at most industrial supply stores or online. You can find more information about DIN Rail at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_rail. These containers are open top and easily snap onto the din rail. They do require some cleanup after printing to remove the built-in supports from the ends and sometimes the middle of the mounting area. The containers have a slot on the front that accepts a 30mm x 15mm tag for labeling. The containers were designed in Creo (Pro/Engineer) and the master files are included as a .zip file. Additional container designs will be released soon, along with a tool storage system.
