DIN rail mount for ST-Link V2 programmer
prusaprinters

A colleague requested a DIN-rail mount for his ST-Link V2 Isol programmer in order to ease handling a little.

One good opportunity to test a new spring mechanism which I'd like to call the “moustache”. It's not snap-in and fiddling in the spring requires some tough material but it works quite well. For attaching/detaching the holder, you just have to press that little black moustache-endings. Just imagine squeezing Salvador Dali's cheeks if that helps… it probably doesn't.

2 pc. of M2 x ~8 screws are required to keep the 'stache into place.

Printed in black and transparent PC. The spring has to be made of a stiff but not brittle material, so PC max from polymaker is one option. PC lite from polymaker would be too brittle… it's a tightrope walk.

Here's the programmer which should fit the holder:

https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/st-link-v2.html
