DIN Rail Modular Tool Organizer
thingiverse
I was sick of having to change my whole tool organization when I got one more screwdriver or pair of pliers that needed to fit in "between" the rest. So I decided to make a system that is modular, such that I can Customize the holder for a particular tool Change the organization/order of all my tools I created two types, straight and angled. I used the angled to stow my tools "away" under a shelf above my work table. The square I use wall-mounted in my shed. The fusion 360 files are (mostly) parametric, so you can use them to create you custom supports. To fit in the 8x3mm disk magnets for the single and dual magnet mount, use a bit of CA glue or hot glue. If PLA isn't strong enough for you, these prints should also work with PETG, ASA or PC just as fine. The tolerances are quite large in these prints, if you want a "snug" fit, scale the thing down in the width-direction of the din-rail at your leisure. There is a ton of different designs here, the pictures indicate example usages: Hole with tube works great for screwdrivers. The dual version for smaller ones Square hole works great for pliers and calipers I use the square bins for tweezers, pens, markers and whatnot. The wide bin holds my tape measure The dual disk magnet hold my small tape measure
