Cable-tie slots secure cables when no chassis or cable trays are available, making them ideal for desktop experiments. In this setup, the power cord is attached to a rail that serves as a makeshift workstation. To install, simply clip onto standard 35mm DIN rails using the same method as traditional clamps. Release by inserting a fingernail or screwdriver blade into the slot at the bottom of the clip.
