Needed to install eight buttons featuring built-in LED lights on a DIN rail for building simulations. The original concept, "DIN-Rail cable management system" by JeanClaude, pointed in the right direction but lacked depth and required drilling holes after printing. So I incorporated his design into Fusion 360, cloned the side profile, and expanded it roughly twice to accommodate a twenty-millimeter height object. At the front, eight twenty-millimeter wide holes were arranged in a honeycomb pattern for the buttons. In the back, I created a similar hole as in the original with an arch on one side for printing without supports. As a result, I have a nearly perfect development console for my PLC projects featuring eight switches and twelve-volt LEDs that are individually driven.
