DIN Gauge Plate w/ switches
thingiverse
I designed this gauge pod to replace a blank DIN plate in my Miata. It was modeled using Fusion 360. The design holds two 52 mm gauges and two toggle switches that were already wired into my car but installed into jagged cutouts on an old blank DIN plate before. Dimensions are 182mm x 60mm x 10mm with a 3mm shell thickness. Gauge holes have a nominal diameter of 52mm. A square switch (methanol) has a cutout of 30mm x 12mm, and a launch control switch hole is 12.5mm in diameter. Two holes above and below the bridge between the two 52mm gauge cutouts are designed to fit M4 socket head cap screws. These bolts will be used for attaching the plate to your car, and you'll need to create your own mounting solution. The center positions of these holes are 67mm from the left edge and 8mm from the top or bottom respectively. Blank plates have a snap-fit design. Printing in ABS worked well for me (0.2mm layer height, 20% honeycomb infill, no supports, no rafts). This was intended to be a perfect solution for my needs, so I'd be surprised if it meets your requirements exactly (two gauges and two mismatched toggle switches). However, I've shared the STL file as requested, and I'll start contributing to the Thingiverse community. The recessed text on the face is barely legible but served as a guide for using white paint. The switches were already installed in my car, but here are links to similar products that should work with this plate: For the round hole: https://www.delcity.net/store/LED-Duckbill-Toggle-Switches/p_791291.h_819174.r_IF1003 For the square hole: https://www.delcity.net/store/Illuminated-Appliance-Rocker-Switches/p_788660.h_788665.r_IF1003 If this helps you, I'd love to see pictures of your install.
