Dimmer Switch Cap

Dimmer Switch Cap

I'm making a new cap for our dimmer switches downstairs because we lost one. To model it, I used Blender to create a precise replica of the missing piece. Since I don't have calipers at home, I relied on a standard ruler, which surprisingly worked out well. First, I printed two versions of the replacement cap. The first one was incomplete, lacking some walls due to their thinness, which made Cura struggle to detect them. Although it still functioned, this initial version would rock back and forth in the holder and likely fall out over time, so I decided to print a revised version after tweaking the model. Here are my printing settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Low Infill: 30%
