Dimmable Pipe Lamp Valve

This was a project I tackled last summer for a floor pipe lamp I built specifically for my wife. My aim was to craft a dimmer that resembled and functioned like a valve. It was engineered with standard 3/4in black pipe in mind. Any 3/4in pipe or fittings will screw right into the housing. The bolt holding the handle is a standard 1/4-20 bolt. Additionally, I used a lock washer between the handle and the nut for added security. Inside the dimmer sits a cleverly designed mechanism that controls the light's intensity. Here are the plastic screws needed to assemble all the components together seamlessly. To achieve the perfect finish, I employed Iron Paint - a durable and high-quality coating available online.
