This design is based on the original from Thingiverse, but I've made significant changes to improve its fit and performance in 3D printing, eliminating the need for aluminum components altogether. For optimal results, use PETG or higher-quality materials. When assembling the lock mechanism, consider using a spring and ball combination or a screw with a rounded head, as showcased in the post-print photos. Important note: In some instances, you may need to readjust the black arm (safe rod guide). To do this, simply loosen the black screw and pull the arm counterclockwise slightly.
