Dillon 1050 Shell Case Adapter .223/5.56

I misplaced the case feeder shell adapter for my Dillon 1050, specifically designed for .223 / 5.56 cartridges. After some thought, I finally got to work on creating it. Upon printing, I was pleased to find that it fits snugly onto the press and the drop tube. The top rim features a precisely printed hole for a timing pin. To prevent cracking from PLA, I drilled out this hole to 1/16 inch in diameter. A 1/16 x 1/2 inch roll pin is necessary to keep the adapter from rotating like its original counterpart. McMaster Carr carries these pins, as do various online sources. They come in a box of 250 for $5.35, so unless you plan on producing many adapters, it's worth exploring other suppliers for better deals.
