Remix of DiiiCooler Shim for Di3 v2.1 by @grantisimo that allows insertion and removal without needing to fully remove the DiiiCooler, making it easy to test various shim heights and install with ease. Loosen the two screws holding the DiiiCooler in place, grasp one screw with the hooked end, snap the other end onto the remaining screw, and tighten the screws back securely. The nozzle height on the Di3 / Di3+ is adjustable using a set screw, but it appears that for proper cooler height, the heater block needs to be touching the mounting bracket or heatsink with little heat break in between. A combination of adjusting the set screw as far as comfortable and adding a 1.5mm shim brought the height of the cooler to approximately 2mm from the tip of the nozzle. A fan speed of 40% is about perfect for PLA on the Di3+ with this setup; more cooling affects adhesion between layers negatively. @Pawpawpaw85, creator of the DiiiCooler, states "Optimal distance from tip to nozzle to cooler is ~1-2.5 mm for best performance," so you may need to increase the height of this shim in your slicer to bring your cooler into this range.
