DiiiCooler FolgerTech i3 Adapter Bracket
thingiverse
This easy-to-assemble bracket enables the use of the excellent Diiicooler on your standard FolgerTech 2020 i3 extruder (or any other model with the same heat break). The fit is very close but it functions well. There's a small clearance of about mm on all sides of the hot end. To compensate for the heating cartridge/thermistor wires that tend to push the cooler down, there's a 3mm angle where the bracket meets the DiiiCooler. The holes are oversized by 1mm so you can make slight adjustments before tightening all the bolts. There is sufficient clearance to the nozzle tip. To adjust it in either direction simply add a few washers on either the heat break side or the Diiicooler side, depending on which way you want it to go. Requires two M3 bolts and the listed hardware for the DiiiCooler; 6mm or longer is fine, but I used 20mm because that's what I had available. This probably won't end well with PLA, but you can give it a try. Other plastics should be OK too. How I Designed This Designed in Autodesk Inventor
