Better cooling performance compared to the Triceratops shroud that came with my printer kit, based on thorough testing I've conducted. Easy access to the manual feed wheel is another significant benefit. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. Adding this adapter plate increases the head width by approximately 2.5 cm. It can be challenging to view the nozzle due to its obstructed position. A 50mm fan is required for optimal performance, which means purchasing a new fan and rewiring it is necessary. The added weight of the adapter plate contributes a few grams more to the overall printer weight. Some users have taken additional steps to enhance their setup. I installed a quick disconnect on my fan for effortless swapping between cooling solutions. Other designs are still under evaluation, pending the arrival of fans from my supplier. To ensure precise Z-axis adjustment, I slotted the mounting holes accordingly.
