Digitrax - Circuitron's tortoises possess a double-ended connector with 8 pins per side. When using double-ended 10-pin edge connectors, it is possible for the extreme contacts 1 and 10 to allow small lateral movements within the same track, potentially resulting in an unwanted connection. The T-tops, inserted into positions 1 and 10 of the edge connector, cancel this possibility.
