Digitrax SN2AB/SNABC Dress-Up
thingiverse
I picked the Digitrax signals for my N-scale modules, since they're easy to remove for transport. But, they are a little... crude looking. I wanted to dress them up but without a ton of effort. So, here's the result. The bases are available in short or tall. If you don't want to use the ladder & platform, just print 2 of the bases without ladder base; they're symmetrical. If you ARE using the ladder & platform, don't print the "Signal Head Back" because that's built into the platform(s). The bases are designed to print flat on your build plate; they're "under-cut" so you shouldn't see a print foot that needs trimming. The rest of the pieces, should be built with supports. For the ladder & the target faces, I print them standing up (well, hanging down) - they don't require a lot of supports that way so they come out very clean. If these pieces don't "Quite" match the look you want - no worries!
