Simply print it in MakerBot True Green PLA and use the pins to support the item being scanned, allowing you to reorient or reposition it as needed and capture the necessary detail with multiple Multiscans. With this plate, holding objects being scanned becomes effortless, enabling users to take full advantage of the Multiscan function. Printing this plate in MakerBot True Green PLA is crucial. The secret lies in understanding that a mid green color isn't detected by the lasers, resulting in scans appearing as if they're scanning mid-air. This Base Plate allows you to support and reposition any object with its pins, which can be pushed through from underneath, ensuring it won't appear in your scans.
