This handcrafted wooden sculpture was purchased at a flea market in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believed it would be an ideal subject for the MakerBot Digitizer now that it has MultiScan capability. The image above shows a typical scan result produced with MakerWare for Digitizer 2.3 (a single pass) and another that demonstrates the outcome of a MultiScan session made with four passes. One STL file represents the unedited MultiScan result, while the other is the revised version after some simple modifications in Autodesk MeshMixer.
