A flower pot with dimples was scanned using a MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner. After importing the raw scan into MeshMixer for trimming, it was exported to Blender for smoothing. A duplicate was made and manipulated by decimating, scaling down, and raising up. Finally, a Boolean difference modifier created an internal void inside the vase. By Creative Tools.
