This part serves as a crucial component for the Philips Eleva x-ray system, specifically securing the corner of the digital x-ray cassette within the chest stand. Replacement of this part can be costly, with prices exceeding $800 when purchasing directly from the manufacturer. To create an accurate model, precise measurements were taken using calipers, then translated into a 3D design in FreeCAD and exported as an STL file. A solid print was achieved using PLA filament at 205 degrees Celsius on a Prusa i2 printer. Approximately three or four months have passed since installation, with the part performing admirably without any issues. Print settings include: Rafts: Disabled, Supports: Enabled, Resolution: 100 microns, and Infill: Solid for enhanced strength.
