Human: Digital Torque Meter for Rubber Powered Indoor Model Aircraft. The screen tilts in response to user input. The front panel and case can be modified to accommodate various digital scales, including those with polarized LCDs that are best viewed from a shallow angle. A 5 cm torque level arm is installed. When the scale is set to CARATs, the output units of torque will display in g-cm. Extra components required: * Digital Scale: A high-precision digital pocket scale with a 500g capacity and 0.01g resolution, available on eBay. * 1/8" Du-Bro collar with set screw * 0.8..1 mm music wire for the shaft * 1.5-3 mm brass tubing for an adaptor * Two 3x8x4 flanged ball bearings * Two AA batteries * Four M3x10 socket head screws * Four 6x2 magnets * A piece of 0.013" music wire and a 0.6mmx20 pin for retaining the link The digital scale's main board, LCD screen, buttons, load cell, and battery terminals are used in this design. The original wires are thin and fragile; replace them with longer, more robust ones. Feel free to modify the design using available parts. For the next iteration, consider widening the case slightly to increase the gap between the load cell and the wall to approximately 0.2mm.
