Digital Stethoscope
thingiverse
The original design can be found at thingiverse.com/thing:266747. I inserted an earphone's mic for capturing sounds, but it only works for lung sounds, not heart tones due to low frequency (50-70 Hz). To improve this digital stethoscope for cardiac auscultation, please suggest a suitable electronic or specialized mic. As for assembly, print the base and handle along with three pins, insert the pins into respective holes, place the earphone's mic in the central hole of the handle, apply glue, and assemble. A clamp is recommended to hold the pieces correctly during assembly. Please assist with mic suggestions for heart sound recordings!
