This 5g sensor can be effortlessly 3D printed for its purpose thanks to minimal overhangs and 45-degree angles. The lightweight design features snap fit connections instead of screws, reducing tolerance stresses. It offers the option to include a digital display and supports various chip widths. Strength and flow trajectory were tested through FEA and CFD analysis, respectively. ABS plastic provides good strength with a high strength-to-mass ratio for optimal performance.
