Today, many folks know nothing about the manufacturing process behind these instruments and are oblivious to the gap between creators and performers. A growing interest in maker culture is leading people to reinvent existing tools into fresh, modern items. Here we present a revolutionary digital folk instrument created using 3D printing technology and inspired by traditional instruments like the Asalato and Patika.
