Digital clock for 3.5 bay
thingiverse
Ever get tired of setting clocks? Power outages, dead batteries, blah blah.. Your PC can keep the time, too bad you can't see it without the monitor. <b>READ EVERYTHING FIRST,</b> you are going to be connecting something you wired up to your PC! Understand what you are doing before plugging it in! Improper wiring can ruin the Arduino or even your PC. If you ruin something, send those photos along too. :P Add a clock to your 3.5 PC bay! Add a thermistor and get the temp too! You can get these parts off ebay or amazon. Hey, if you build one, please send photos! Parts needed: > This 3D print > 0.56" inch TM1637 > Arduino nano > KY-013 Analogue Thermistor (Optional) > USB cable for arduino nano > jumper wires (or solder and wires) > Code to run clock > PC with a 3.5 bay wouldn't hurt either The LCD is kinda big for the bay, I had to trim off some PCB to make it fit. Watch out for traces, don't cut them while trimming! Code I will add later, you need a server (pc program to send time to arduino) and client (arduino program to set the clock). You can program your own if you like as well, they communicate over the USB via emulated serial.
