Digital Caliper Mount
thingiverse
Working on my LACK enclosure for my Mk3, I discovered that using my digital calipers was a daily necessity and constantly putting them away and retrieving them was inefficient. The current layout of my workspace made it clear that the most practical place to keep my caliper was on the leg of the enclosure itself. To take measurements, I employed my trusty old ruler as I only have one caliper, and measuring a caliper with itself is quite challenging. After some thought, I came up with a simple design that would securely hold the caliper in place without it falling off easily - this is what I ended up with. This design also had an unexpected benefit: it helped me practice using Fusion 360, which has a steeper learning curve than I anticipated after transitioning from SketchUp.
