Digital caliper button guard

I was blowing through LR44s at an alarming rate because the protruding buttons on my calipers kept getting flipped on in my toolbox. I could easily upgrade to newer, better calipers, but where's the excitement in that? The distance between the buttons on my calipers is approximately 9.5mm, and they measure about 6mm in length. Precise measurements are a challenge right now because the buttons are still attached to the measuring device.
