I'm always looking for ways to streamline my workspace, and that's why I created this design for a simple storage bin. My trusty digital caliper from Harbor Freight is a staple in my designing process, but it tends to get misplaced easily. This compact holder keeps the case secure with a 3.8" x 1.25" opening, ensuring my caliper stays within reach. If you like this design but need a customized fit for your own case, I've uploaded the Inventor file so you can modify it to suit your needs. To assemble the bin, you'll need four pins that fit snugly into standard 1" x 1" pegboards. Mounting is a breeze once you have everything in place. If you're interested in printing this design, here are some recommended settings: I use my MakerBot Replicator 2 for most of my prints, and it works beautifully with the following settings: rafts aren't necessary; supports aren't needed either; and a resolution of 0.3mm produces excellent results. For infill, I find that 10% is sufficient to achieve a sturdy yet lightweight finish.
