This is a data link plug of digital caliper. Please modify its size or shape to match your caliper. It's not a standard fit for all makers. Version 1: Four 1mm diameter wires should be bent and inserted through holes in the plug for Ground, Data, Clock, and +1.5V connections. Drill holes with a section of wire fixed in a hand drill to ensure a perfect fit. Insert an L-shaped (2mm bent) wire into the wall of the plug and bend it downward toward a small drilled hole at the front end. As you pass through, alternate bending to avoid contact with other ends (5 shaped). Secure the plug in position using a locking screw. Before fixing the plug, remove the button battery to prevent the caliper's pin from causing a short circuit that could display meaningless readings on the LCD. Version 2: To ensure a steady connection, I plan to solder a connector onto the caliper's contacts and add a 1.5V AAA size battery holder to replace the button battery, ensuring prolonged usage. Electronics: Logic high and low voltages are limited by the caliper's voltage supply. Some designers use transistors to amplify DATA and CLOCK signals so they can be used with PC or SOC boards (like Raspberry Pi). Two circuit diagrams are attached for reference.
