I designed this digging mechanism for my robot tank toy project(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:687676). This addition allows the robot platform to be used as a fun construction toy for kids. Motors can also be added and the whole thing can be used as a remote-controlled digging robot. I created the model using the image gallery of the project by tc_fea (Thanks, buddy! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:32394). I didn't download or use the STL files from his project because they wouldn't have been the right size for my toy robot and I wanted to make a stronger digger. So, I used the mechanism but made it bigger and added more details. I simulated it on solidworks and it works smoothly.
