What to Do to Improve Ventilation in Your Aquarium? To increase airflow in your aquarium, bringing fresh oxygen into the water for the health of your fish, take two simple approaches. First, consider purchasing an additional expensive air pump and necessary accessories. However, a more affordable solution involves attaching a diffusor to your current water pump. To execute the latter method, carefully follow these steps: detach any protective coverings from the waterpump; firmly secure the diffusor attachment to the exposed surface; and make sure the air hose is properly connected. A wide variety of diffusers are available in different sizes. Each model's name at the end indicates the inside diameter of your hose, measured in millimeters. Remember that if you fail to avoid submerging the air hose in the aquarium water, it will be impossible to pull in fresh air from the pump. Typically, the air hose connection is specifically designed for hoses with 4mm inside diameters. Important Considerations: For optimal printing results, use the support feature when creating this model; without it, the air hose connector may not assemble properly.
