Diffuser Adapter for Philips Pro HPS910/00 hairdryer to Remington universal diffuser
prusaprinters

I really liked the power, the short length and the design of the Philips Pro (HPS910/00) hairdryer that I bought. However, there was no diffuser (the cup-like thing with the many spikes ;) included. Neither was there one available from the manufacturer. So I bought a cheap Remington universal diffuser (model No. D52DU) off Amazon, designed and printed an adapter and voilá - it works!

Print instructions

Print using some at least moderately temperature resistant and not too stiff material (PETG for example - I used quite cheap black PETG).

Print with the bigger end oriented to the build plate. Better use a brim, the area in contact with the build plate will be tiny otherwise.

Check the fit to the hairdryer first, as the adapter is designed to permanently attach to the diffuser. (This means you can then use the diffuser as if it was made for the hairdryer, but you'll have a hard time removing the adapter from the diffuser.) If you need to change anything (like clearances), the .f3d file for Fusion360 is included (also the STEP, but that's a fixed body).
