Differential IR sensor mounts for AnyCubic Delta printers
thingiverse
Three distinct mounting options exist for the mini differential IR height sensor by dc42 on an AnyCubic Kossel printer. These options may also fit other effector types and the one that clips onto the heater block should fit any V5 heaterblock. A mount attaches the sensor to the 40mm hotend fan, as seen in the photo. To ensure the sensor is not tilted, add washers to the M3 bolts that secure the mount to the fan. The second option clips the sensor to the effector, nestled between two diagonal rods. Lastly, a mount clips the sensor directly onto the V5 heaterblock that ships with AnyCubic printers. This requires removal before printing but having it close to the nozzle allows for a larger probe area diameter and possibly more accurate calibration. Thanks are extended to dc42 for designing this impressive sensor. Print settings: Printer: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 or 0.2 Infill: solid
