This awesome project was created with Tinkercad - for printing download the 1 to 5 part files. DONE!!! STL has been checked. See pictures for parts included. A necessary tool is coming next. Yes, it was the table (cut as you like)https://tinkercad.com/things/fnBhTWrLgTx From all the parts some need to be glued, others need Duct Tape. Advice: "don't glue the wrong ones together". TinkerCad is a simple yet very educational tool for kids and adults. No installation needed and sharing your design has been made extremely easy. It's an ideal setup for kids in a learning environment exploring and understanding the world of technology and combining history lessons with practical computer lessons, making them familiar with 3D printing. Have fun! The model is designed to be assembled from loose parts. You will need two ty-rips to hold the housing together. Most of the object consists of simple solids. Only the gears were too complex so they had to be made in Autodesk Creative Platform using JavaScript. I edited an existing code set some values to integer, which made it much more stable. The code now also allows 2-sided bevel choice and helix in both directions. The reason I chose to make a differential was because I bought a miniature truck (1:16) for my son, but it was almost impossible for him to make a turn with it. The wheels were fixed so the friction of the rather large wheels prevented the truck from turning. If you would like to edit the TinkerCad file check out: Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/h6qCLJCYrTg File version 2.0 had a few corrections. Forgot to group some holes in the green drive gear. Its axis had minor cosmetic problems. File version 2.1 has two different tasks. Group (fixed) Axis (fixed and locked) Locked in gears / can't take apart (fixed) Take apart and make easily printable (agenda, when I feel like it) Instructions As mentioned this was made in TinkerCad most actions: Align Hollow / Color Group
