Differential axle
thingiverse
Axle with ball differential uses Ursa Bear hubs, featuring locked hubs that can be utilized as a rear axle, which will soon be complemented by a straight axle end. The ball differential is identical to my other one, but with a distinct design found on this 3D printed model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2826921 I initially started building a hub, but discovered that the Ursa Bear hub fits perfectly. Perhaps I'll complete mine someday, as some of the other parts have evolved from it. This axle has not yet been tested in use. It utilizes 4x12x18 bearings and includes a thrust bearing: https://www.banggood.com/XLPOWER-520-RC-Helicopter-Parts-Tail-Thrust-Bearing-Set-p-1229065.html?rmmds=mywishlist&cur_warehouse=CN The axle requires 3mm x 20mm cap head bolts and 2mm x ? (requiring measurement) x6. It also utilizes .177 cal BB's, measuring 4.5mm for the balls in the differential. Additionally, it features 2x washers, measuring 21.68mm x 1.14mm, which do not need to be identical. This design includes a narrower and wider diff, but they are not as refined as this one and will be added later. I have since updated the axles to proper ones.
