GE 44-ton switcher (work-in-progress) chugs along, its locomotive heritage rooted in the Visalia Electric Railroad, a shortline subsidiary of the Southern Pacific that once thrived in California's Central Valley. Now, this vintage engine powers through the active roster at Suisun City's Western Railway Museum, thanks to the museum's generosity in granting access for reference scans to help bring our model to life.
