Diego Armando Maradona (Diego Armando Maradona, October 30, 1960 - November 25, 2020) was a famous Argentine football player who played as a forward or offensive midfielder. Maradona is revered for his prowess, leadership and decisive role in crucial moments. He led the Argentina national team to win the World Cup in 1986 and scored the famous "Hand of God" goal in the quarter-finals of that year. Maradona also enjoyed great success at club level, particularly with Italian side Napoli, where he led the team to the Serie A title and the UEFA Cup. Maradona died of cardiac arrest in 2020 at the age of 60, and fans around the world expressed condolences for his passing.
