Dice Tower
thingiverse
I decided to give this awesome dice tower by LennartS a fresh new look. I'm not a fan of prints that are too long, so I opted to remove the bridge and shorten the rower in half. This allowed me to print the bridge in a different color and create a longer one. After printing, I simply glued the top and bottom parts of the tower together and gave it a coat of paint, making sure the seam was invisible. To add an extra touch, I created a cavity on the tower base and the bridge to hold a small rare earth magnet, measuring 25 mm x 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm, which I purchased from indigoinstruments.com. I also added some lines to give the bridge a wood-planked look on both the long and normal sides. Now all that's left is adding some finishing touches by painting the shields. Next up, I'll be adding a slot to put some light in the tower base, designed specifically for LEDs like the ones from Amazon.ca. I trimmed the string down to 5 LEDs - it's just enough. And that's a wrap!
