Dice Tower Camera Adapter

<p>This adapter allows you to attach your webcam to your dice tower. This way you can bring your dice rolls into the digital world.</p><p>It's a much simpler approach comapred to my <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/116974-dice-cam-8mm">DiceCam</a>. Making it more accessible.</p><p>For now I have made various diameters for my towers, 50mm (<a href="https://www.printables.com/model/19226-helix-dice-tower">Helix Dice Tower</a>), 70mm (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ehL34AV_94">Resin Tornado Dice Tower</a>) and 80mm (<a href="https://www.printables.com/model/19212-open-spiral-dice-tower">Open Spiral Dice Tower</a>).&nbsp;</p><p>If you need a specific diameter for a different tower, comment here and I'll add it. I also have a parametric fusion file, so you can modify the diameter yourself via parameter.</p><p>Everything prints support free and you need an M4 square nut and 14mm+ M4 countersunk screw.</p><p>How it works:</p><p>Screw and nut are placed on the ring of the adapter. The adapter is put on the top of the tower and gently tightened.</p><p>You simply hang the webcam onto the top triangle shaped section and set the hinges to view vertically down in front of the dice tower. A tray is recommended to keep the dice within the field of view of the camera. You can simply switch the cameras in your online session or use software like OBS to combine multiple video sources.</p><p>The tower needs to be stable, so it's either heavy or is fixed to the tray or table, to prevent it from tipping over. Thus the cameras are mostly fairly light, the lever they have on the tower is enough, especially on printed towers which are also light in weight.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Disclaimer: The dice in the pictures are my own creation, if you're interested in that, check out my <a href="https://www.instagram.com/wuerfel_schmied">Instagram</a> profile and contact me there.
