Dice Tower and Case (Plinko Style)
cults3d
A plinko style dice tower I've designed. It features a case that can store dice and pencils when it's not in use. When it's time to play, the case transforms into a dice tray. It's engineered to utilize 1/4" plexiglass in the front because seeing the dice roll adds to the fun. The actual thickness of the plexiglass I used is 0.222". Find the piece I used here: https://a.co/b3aKqLg. I've included an STL file for the front, which can be used as either the front piece or a guide to cut your own plexiglass. Note: This design was created before I got my 3D printer. It's an updated version of a dice tower I originally designed and built from wood. After gaining some experience with 3D printing, I realized that it requires a different design approach than woodworking. I scrapped this design in favor of a new one. However, I decided to publish it anyway, just in case people prefer this design over the newer one. My preferred design is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:206089 The new design features an open front, no assembly required, no plexiglass needed, and includes an organizer for use during play, making it easy to print with no supports
