Dice Set

This is a standard set of dice often used in tabletop role-playing games. I've included both the whole dice models and halves for printing. The bottom side of a whole die model may not print well due to how the first layer is printed, but halved models can avoid this issue by burying the first layer inside once assembled. I'm pleased with how they turned out. Numbers are painted with simple black acrylic paint applied into recessed numbers using a toothpick. The slight color difference between each die results from the reflective nature of the filament used and the angle of the sides relative to the camera, even though all dice were printed with the same silver filament. Each die features a symbol replacing the highest number; for example, a twenty-sided die has its twenty on it. Update: I added an updated version of the four-sided die model after discovering numbers were too small for my printer, so I recommend using this new version instead. I tried printing the full model of the new four-sided die and it worked much better, but keep in mind that the bottom may not look as nice. It's also essential to note that if your extruder nozzle is too hot, sharp peaks on top can start melting or deforming if they don't move away often enough for complete cooling. Recommended settings include: Layer height at 0.1 mm, maximum infill, and no supports for halves but possibly needed for whole dice, especially four-sided dice.
