Pencils are fantastic, but they get progressively shorter each time they're sharpened, making them increasingly difficult to hold onto as they dwindle down. A pencil extender is a great solution, extending their usability even when they've reached a critical length. While modifying my Allen key/hex key extender to function as an extender, I thought it would be brilliant to incorporate a dice feature into the design. Given that I also own round pencils, this feature should support those as well. The following parameters can be adjusted: * The shape of the pencil holder (hexagonal or rounded) * Generating the extender and/or some filler part (which makes printing in different colors much easier) * Including a dice or omitting it * The diameter (for hexagons, use the inner diameter) * The height of the extender/dice * The minimum thickness of the shell If you generate a filler, you might also want to utilize it as a cap. If you opt for the setting cap, a small hole will be created that could either help prevent breaking the pencil tip or hinder its functionality. If you choose to use this design as a pencil extender, don't forget to set an adequate depth for the hole. This design can be printed in two separate parts and assembled afterwards if you prefer to have it in two colors. Since I only have access to a single-extrusion printer, I may revisit this project in the future when I acquire a dual-extrude machine.
