Dice of Crowns - Crown

I crafted a game with the aid of 3D printing technology, and we launched it on Kickstarter. As part of our efforts to secure funding, I'm sharing some of the designs I created for the game. The game is a fast-paced dice game called Dice of Crowns. I was able to print the entire game using my 3D printer, and we developed the rules over many hours of rolling dice. The Crowns in this entry were initially designed as a fun little accent, but we managed to incorporate them into the game as well. I'm including both crown designs. They make a fun little ring, and sit comfortably on the Winner's head. I also printed one at 3x scale for "table candy" at a board game convention. Dice of Crowns is a rapid-paced blend of luck and strategy. It captures the conflict of a war of houses vying for succession through how 7 Dice are rolled, and change hands. Deceptively simple to learn, advanced play offers tricky choices, allowing players to manipulate fate, upset possible victories, and thwart betrayal.
