Dice Mold Mold
thingiverse
These are for making silicone dice molds. Several design decisions of note: - The "teardrop" shape helps ensure you orient the mold correctly - The raised pedestal is not quite the same size as the die; this should help in that only one side *should* need sanding on the final die - Filleted edges to aid in removal of the mold Various settings are documented on the SCAD file; die size, text height, and various others are easily adjustable. Please see [Github](https://github.com/WilliamTCarroll/DiceMold) for the most up to date SCAD file (I'll try to remember to update it here!). ## Printing - Resolution isn't very important; the inside of the mold isn't affected - I put brims on the shells; the contact area isn't that great ## Updates #### v0.2.0 - 2021-01-30 - Shrink radius to 18mm; still fits dice, but two sets can be made with the silicone we get! - Increase shell thickness to 1.6; kinda handy when they don't tear apart.
