Dice Holder
thingiverse
This piece was initially created for MTG, it can accommodate three D20 dice (used for Commander damage or any other application) and three D8 dice (for health tracking). A bar has been included between the left-most and middle D8s to serve as an easily visible marker separating hundreds- and tens-place digits for simple mental calculations. There are holes on either side for magnets since a modular system of interlocking pieces will be introduced, and I plan to create more models for this set. The intended magnet size is 1/16" by 1/4", but the holes in this model turned out slightly smaller than expected. However, filing or drilling them down allows me to use these magnets as planned. To assemble this piece: First, create the base however you prefer. Next, insert your dice STL models into the base. After that, perform difference Boolean operations between the base and dice to make cutouts for the dice in place. Double-check measurements to ensure accuracy.
