It is a game of skill in which players try to stay alive by throwing dice into an arena and making them collide, so that they will be able to retrieve dice if repeated values are obtained. The fundamental element of is your Dice. These represent gladiators who are going to fight to the death in the arena. They are 6-sided dice with values from 2 to 6 plus one side showing an X (representing the gladiator's death). These dice will initially be in the player's personal pool (the ludus) and will function, in turn, as the player's life points. Thus, if a player runs out of dice he will be eliminated from the game. Last but not least, there is the Arena, where the dice will be thrown to collide with each other. The arena is placed in the center of the table. Each player receives an initial amount of dice dependent on the number of players in the game: 5 players: 6 dice 4 players: 7 dice 3 players: 8 dice 2 players: 9 dice A die is also rolled inside the arena, making sure that it does not show the face with x's on it. The rest of the dice are not used. The oldest player will be the starting player. Starting with the initial player and continuing clockwise, each player enjoys a turn. On his turn, a player must throw a die into the arena. Now two cases can happen: That there are one or more repeated values among the dice in the arena. In this case the player takes all the dice with repeated values and places them in his personal pool. This would end his turn. That there are no repeated values in the arena. Then the player may choose to throw another die into the arena or stand. Additionally, the following situations may occur: If any die shows the face with an x or exits the arena, that die will be eliminated from the game. If at the start of the turn there are no dice in the arena, the player in possession of the turn must roll all the dice from his personal pool in one roll. The moment a player runs out of dice in his personal pool he will be eliminated from the game. Once a player recovers dice, decides to stand or runs out of dice in his personal pool, his turn ends and it is the turn of the next player clockwise with dice his personal pool. The game ends the moment only one player has dice in his reserve, proclaiming him the winner. Number of players = between 2 and 5 players Duration of the game = 15 minutes
