Dice forge face popper
thingiverse
No more dice faces flying around when playing Dice Forge ! Most solutions I found online were just levers, leading to uneven wear of the dice faces. The provided solution that comes with the game scores the dice faces and leaves dents on face corners. Looking for a better alternative and wanting to preserve my game, I decided to make my own face popper for Dice Forge die. It's basically a modified set of tweezers, just align the tip with the gap on the sides of the faces and push them in. Their shape makes them slide into the gap, after that, just push the pliers in to grip the face. That motion by itself sometimes releases the face, if they don't come loose, just lightly pull the face off. Besides providing a better grip, the tweezers' distinct shape gives them enough height so that you can align the gaps on dice by simply setting it on a flat surface, then just push them in and they should pop right out. Believe me, after a few tries, this way is way faster when having to pop multiple faces at the same time (like when resetting the die after a game).
