Dice Box + Miniature Storage

Dice Box + Miniature Storage

This Dice Box is designed to store a standard dice set, an extra die such as a D20, and a miniature. It opens easily by pressing the button and lifting the box. My main objective was to create a dice box that does not require magnets, superglue, or supports. This dice box successfully achieves that goal. One of its best features is that both sides are 3mm thick. An svg can be used to carve an image into both sides, leaving plenty of space for stickers, art, and signatures. Print all the parts in the orientations shown in the parts picture. Do not use supports! Once printed and cleaned up, assemble with these steps: 1. Combine the top and bottom by inserting a 1.75mm piece of filament into the hinge. This is easiest when the box is closed. 2. Insert the button into the cavity. Make sure to clean out any sloppy bridging that occurred in the cavity. 3. Insert the latch hook, with the hook side facing forward, through the button and into the hole immediately below it. 4. Test close and sand/adjust the latch hook as needed so it will latch snugly. If the latch hook pulls out easily, you can roughen up the bottom section with a little sanding to increase friction or put a small bit of glue into the hole it goes in. There is a small open area at the bottom where the glue can overflow if necessary.
