Dice Bases for Mold Making [Starflare]

These 3D-printable funnels are perfect for creating two-part silicone molds that make dice making a breeze. They serve as lids with vents to hold excess resin in place. To ensure the right fit, double-check the chart listing default sizes of each base to match your project needs. Don't forget to check if you're using a platinum-based silicone and an resin printer; in that case, use Inhibit-X to prevent uncured results. This product is a lifesaver when working with these materials. Once printed, apply a thin layer of fun-tac between the die's face and its base. Place this mixture in your container, pour in the silicone, and let it cure. Remove the funnel and fun-tac, but keep the dice inside their mold. Add vaseline to the funnel area (avoid touching the dice), and pour more silicone for the second part. After curing, open up the mold and carefully remove a portion of the vent to allow excess resin to flow out (refer to the images).
