Diatone Roma F5 V2 Camera Mount
thingiverse
Diatone ships the Roma F5 V2 with a very nice looking Go-Pro-style camera mount that bolts down in the front and at the back, hooks through a slot in the top plate. The problem is that on a hard hit while flying, I broke a battery strap and in so doing, the battery shifted forward into that mount which comes to a fairly sharp point. I ended up with a damaged cell and had to scrap that battery. Luckily I have access to Inventor and I sat down with a pair of calipers and the top plate and reproduced with some pretty decent accuracy the curves of that top plate. I used a Go-Pro mount I had made in Tinkercad to merge the 2 together. This plate is 2mm thick but I included the obj file so you can stretch that part to 3mm if you want. 2 seems fine. Now I don't have to worry about damaging anymore packs. I used Sain Smart TPU, printed at super fine. Supports for the holes.
