Diatone GT Series Arm Bumpers

Both my GT-M200 and GT-R5 frames are incredible, but I hit a snag last weekend when one of them took a knock. Frustrated, I reached out to Diatone to see if they offered any motor arm protection or had a 3D model of the arm shape I could work with. After asking, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design something myself. After two hours of tinkering, I finally came up with a design I'm thrilled with. This design is specifically tailored for the 6mm arms on the GT-M200 frame, but I'll be uploading a file soon that's optimized for the 4mm GT-R arms as well. For anyone interested in creating their own motor arm protection, I've included my original mold of the arm shape in case you want to create your own using soft mounting or other materials. My design is cleverly constructed so that it simply slips over the arm without requiring any additional screw length, making it perfect for use with bottomless motors. To print this design effectively, make sure to use TPU or TPE material exclusively.
